	The Casey, Illinois, Popcorn Festival offers three full days of family fun, food, and entertainment over the Labor Day weekend. Join us Sept. 4, 5, and 6, 2010, as we celebrate our 23rd year! Some call it an end-of-summer festival; others think of it as the beginning of the fall season. Casey residents will tell you the Casey Popcorn Festival is just good old-fashioned family fun with no beer tent in sight! Located in the century-old Fairview Park, the Casey Popcorn Festival has earned its reputation as the Premier Family Festival in a two-state area. Music fills the air almost continuously as live bands offer oldies, classic rock, country, and southern Gospel. Kids entertainers such as magicians and animal shows are featured, as well as a huge carnival, more than 60 craft booths, a car show, festival food, and FREE popcorn, the official snack food of Illinois. Location: Casey, Illinois, is located just off I-70, midway between St. Louis and Indianapolis. We're 130 miles east of St. Louis and 110 miles west of Indy. That means we're about 35 miles west of the Illinois-Indiana border. To reach our Popcorn Festival location, take Exit 129 south off I-70 onto Hwy. 49. Turn south onto Hwy. 49 and follow it to Monroe Street. Turn east onto Monroe Street. Travel four blocks until you arrive at Fairview Park, our 40-acre festival site offering shade trees, a water fountain, pond, campground, swimming pool, ball diamonds, and playground.
